Well, that didn’t last long.

Earlier in the Ohio State-Michigan State game, Buckeyes RB Mike Weber recorded a career-long touchdown run, gashing the Spartans defense for a 47-yard score. The touchdown gave the Buckeyes a 7-0 lead.

A few scores later, at 28-0, Ohio State started its possession following a Michigan State punt. On the very first play of the drive, Weber took another one to the house — this time for 82 yards.

Again, Weber now has a new career-long.

Weber now had 161 yards on 8 carries to go along with his 2 touchdowns.

After last week’s 31-point loss to Iowa, this is exactly what not just Weber needed, but Ohio State as a whole.
