After beating Iowa State in a crazy game Saturday, Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy showed some major appreciation for Cowboy fans.
The Cowboys escaped Ames with a 49-42 victory in Week 11. Gundy shook hands with Iowa State coach Matt Campbell on the field, and then he ran over to a contingent of Oklahoma State fans who made the trip to see the game.
“Appreciate you guys coming,” Gundy said.

It was a classy move by the Cowboys coach, and a nice gesture toward all the fans who traveled so far to support the team. Those fans deserved it too, sitting through a nerve-racking, close win that came down to an interception in the end zone.
The Cowboys are now 8-2 (5-2 Big 12) on the season, and they’re still alive for the Big 12 Championship Game. Gundy and his team will need all the fan support they can get next weekend when they host Kansas State.
