The good news keeps on coming for Khaleke Hudson.
After setting a Big Ten record with eight tackles for loss in the team’s 33-10 win over Minnesota, the safety earned Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors. Hudson added to his list of achievements Tuesday afternoon in becoming the Bronko Nagurski Defensive Player of the Week.
He joins Tyree Kinnel and Chase Winovich as the third Wolverines player to earn the recognition this season.
Hudson finished the contest with career highs in tackles (15) and sacks (3) in addition to one forced fumble.
Hudson and the Wolverines are back in action Saturday on the road against Maryland, a team struggling to develop an offensive identity with its third starting quarterback of the season. Perhaps Hudson can capitalize on the Terps’ struggles and put together another monster game.
