Michigan a decent bet to win national title next season
Land of 10’s Rachel Lenzi explains why oddsmakers are making Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines 12-1 favorites to win the national title next season. According to Lenzi, the Wolverines opened with such strong odds because of the number of players they will return in 2018 and their consistently stifling defense.

Wolverines release contract info for 2 assistant coaches
Lenzi obtained the contract information for assistant coaches Chris Partridge and Sherrone Moore from a Freedom of Information Act request. Partridge signed a 2-year deal and has a base salary of $500,000 for each year, while Moore will have a base salary of $225,000 in 2018 and $250,000 in 2019.
QB Alex Malzone transferring to Miami (Ohio)
Michigan quarterback Alex Malzone announced Monday that he’ll head to Miami (Ohio) for his final two seasons. Malzone was in his third season with the program after joining as a 4-star recruit out of Birmingham, Mich., in the Class of 2015. He did not throw a pass in a game during his three seasons with the team.
Michigan recruits Otis Reese, Ronnie Bell visit Ann Arbor
