Maxwell Award misspells Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor’s name in semifinal list

Wisconsin star RB Jonathan Taylor is a Maxwell Award semifinalist. The freshman is one of 18 players to make the cut, along with fellow Big Ten stars in Ohio State QB J.T. Barrett and Penn State RB Saquon Barkley.

But apparently Taylor isn’t a household name like some of the other players. When the Maxwell Award revealed the players on Twitter and Instagram, they didn’t spell his name correctly.

The Maxwell Award spelled it “Johnathan Taylor,” in a post shared on Twitter and Instagram.
