Oklahoma State basketball coach Mike Boynton wants increased attendance

Oklahoma State basketball coach Mike Boynton wants more butts in Gallagher-Iba Arena’s seats. He said as much Thursday, with a tweet pointing out that the Cowboys attendance through six home games, including their exhibition, is 4,587. Oklahoma State is 5-0 in regular-season home games thus far.

To this point, it’s understandable attendance has been low, given the opponents visiting Gallagher-Iba Arena. But that will change Dec. 9, when No. 8 Wichita State comes to Stillwater, Okla. Before that, the Cowboys take on Mississippi Valley State on Sunday.
