LSU football is the No. 1 topic of discussion every day on SEC Country’s One Team, One Podcast. Host Carter ‘The Power” Bryant lays out why former Tigers coach Les Miles would be a great fit at Arkansas. Also, SEC Country Arkansas beat writer Eric Bolin joins the show to chat about the deep rooted issues within the Razorbacks program, if head coach Bret Bielema and/or athletic director Jeff Long will be fired and why he believes Arkansas will cover the large spread.
Les Miles to Arkansas
Bryant believes Arkansas will make a change from Bielema in the offseason, especially if the Hogs miss a bowl game. Miles would not be their first choice, but Bryant explains why he would make a lot of sense. Also, he goes into detail as to why The Mad Hatter owes the Razorbacks a massive favor.
Bolin also gives a list of other names to keep an eye on this winter.
LSU fans should be lucky they are not Arkansas
Bryant and Bolin have followed the Razorbacks for over a decade. They know how gloomy things can look with juggernauts LSU, Alabama and Auburn in your own division.
LSU will always have a chance to win based on in-state talent alone. Arkansas is not a state packed with SEC-level prospects. Bryant explains the Razorbacks rut of mediocrity and how Bayou Bengal fans should be fortunate it is not them.
Bolin chats on the podcast about how fans in Fayetteville have reacted to the turmoil within the Razorback football program. Just FYI, it is not good.
Razorbacks keep it close?
Bolin believes Arkansas will play inspired football with starter Austin Allen coming back into the picture. He thinks they will cover the 17-point spread.
