LSU football: Former OL Maea Teuhema lands at FCS destination

BATON ROUGE, La. — Former LSU offensive lineman Maea Teuhema has decided to transfer to Southeastern Louisiana, as was announced by the school Tuesday night.

Teuhema practiced with LSU throughout the spring and summer before electing to leave the program after he was suspended for academic violations. Teuhema was projected to start for LSU this season after starting 10 and playing in all 12 of LSU’s games in 2016.

Teuhema’s brother Sione, another former LSU player, also plays at Southeastern, which is in Hammond, La. The FCS school plays in the Southland Conference.

Check back to SEC Country for more updates if they arise.
