LSU is out on the road recruiting. On Tuesday, the staff hits the Lone Star State.
Newly minted LSU defensive line coach Dennis Johnson and offensive line coach Jeff Grimes are both set to visit with 4-star defensive tackle Chasen Hines for an in-home visit, he tells SEC Country.
Hines, who measures up at 6-foot-3 and 335 pounds, is a top-300 prospect nationally and the No. 21-ranked defensive tackle in the Class of 2018. The Marshall (Texas) High School standout originally committed to the Tigers as an offensive guard, but was re-offered as a defensive lineman earlier this fall.
The versatile big man has made a handful of visits to Baton Rouge this fall, but is also being courted by Texas.
