LSU holds commitments from a trio of North Louisiana defenders and members of the coaching staff will head toward Shreveport, La., to check in.
Area recruiter and tight ends coach Steve Ensminger will go in-home with a trio of Evangel Academy (La.) prospects, including 4-star defensive lineman Davin Cotton, 3-star linebacker Micah Baskerville and 3-star defensive back Ar’Darius Washington, they informed SEC Country
Cotton, Baskerville and Washington all committed to LSU together during the “Boys From The Boot” recruiting function back in February. All three standout defenders have remained solid to their verbal pledges despite an influx of interest from other schools across the country.
Washington just wrapped up a spectacular senior senior with more than 50 tackles and three interceptions. Baskerville’s senior campaign was equally as impressive, racking up 80 tackles and four sacks, which helped him to secure an Army All-American bid. Cotton missed this season due to a leg injury he suffered Week 1.
