Louisville Cardinals land wide receiver prospect Tyler Harrell

The Louisville Cardinals landed 3-star wide receiver Tyler Harrell for the 2018 recruiting class on Monday. Harrell announced his commitment to the Cardinals on Twitter.

“I have decided to Commit to University of Louisville,” Harrell wrote at the end of his post.

Harrell, who stands at 6-feet tall and 165 pounds, is ranked inside the Top 200 players in both the state of Florida and at wide receiver in the 2018 class. Overall, he is the 966th ranked player in the country according to 247Sports.

In addition to Louisville, Harrell received offers from 20 offers, including from fellow ACC Atlantic Division schools Syracuse and Wake Forest. He also received offers from five other Power 5 programs, including Purdue and Rutgers.

With his commitment, the Cardinals have 21 prospects signed up in the 2018 recruiting class. Louisville’s class for next spring is ranked fifth-best in the ACC and 28th nationally according to 247Sports.
