After eight seasons at the helm, Jimbo Fisher resigned at Florida State to become the head coach at Texas A&M.

According to ESPN’s Mark Schlabach, Texas A&M approved a 10-year $75 million deal for Fisher, who officially left Florida State for Texas A&M on Friday.

Fisher guided the program to the 2013 national championship. However, despite being ranked No. 3 heading into this season, Florida State has just five wins and is merely aiming to become bowl eligible.

Texas A&M is 7-5 this season and fired head coach Kevin Sumlin. Texas A&M is paying Sumlin $10.4 million in buyout money.

Fisher will be introduced on Monday in College Station.
