TCU may be the away team, but they’re trying to wear as much black as humanly possible for their rematch with Oklahoma.
Per a tweet from the official TCU Football Twitter account, TCU will wear black helmets, white jerseys, and black pants against the Sooners.

The last time the Horned Frogs wore this combination was 2016 against the Texas Longhorns.
If TCU is going to beat Oklahoma, they’ll need more than some black jersey voodoo. The Sooners aren’t intimidated by much, if anything, and stellar quarterback Baker Mayfield will likely take black alternate jerseys and flip it into motivation, somehow.
Oklahoma has a juggernaut offense, and the Horned Frogs will need defensive ends Mat Boesen and Ben Banogu to make more plays that they did in the last matchup between the two teams. Yes, TCU will need offense as well, but it’s possible to score a fair amount on the Sooners. The X-Factor will come in the trenches. Who will win, the TCU ends, or the OU tackles?
