LOOK: Part of Ole Miss’ stadium basically empty shortly before kickoff against Louisiana

Ole Miss fans were slow arrivers to the Rebels’ game against Louisiana on Saturday.

Sure, Ole Miss had a noon ET kickoff. And yes, some fans likely allowed their pregame festivities to spill past the time of the Rebels’ latest game beginning at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Still, the photos below from Gridiron Now’s Brad Logan are somewhat surprising.

It has been a tough season for Ole Miss. The Rebels entered the day with a 4-5 record, with NCAA trouble continuing to hang over the program. However, the matchup against the 4-4 Ragin’ Cajuns figures to be a prime chance for Ole Miss to gain a victory.

We’ll see if Ole Miss can come through, no matter how many fans are there to see the result.
