The University of Oklahoma spared no expense trolling TCU the day before the 2017 Big 12 Championship Game.
Oklahoma ran a full-page ad in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, which is available to TCU students for free on campus.
The advertisement reeled off some of Oklahoma’s best academic achievements as a university on the back page of the newspaper. Take a look at the expert troll job:

Not a bad job by the University of Oklahoma to expertly troll the football team’s opponent in the Big 12 Championship Game, as well as support local journalism in the Fort Worth, Texas, area — truly a win-win.
The Big 12 Championship Game is set for a 12:30 p.m. ET kickoff at AT&T Stadium on Saturday. Oklahoma and TCU’s clash can be seen on FOX.
The Sooners beat coach Gary Patterson’s Frogs 38-20 in the first meeting between the teams on Nov. 11. Sooners first-year coach Lincoln Riley and his group can lock up a spot in the College Football Playoff with a second win over TCU. The Frogs will make no worse than a New Year’s 6 bowl with a win, but their hopes of making the playoff are much slimmer than Baker Mayfield and the Sooners.
