Oklahoma Athletics announced on Thursday that football and both basketball programs will make the jump to Jordan Brand uniforms starting with the 2018-19 school year.
The Sooners wasted no time in spreading the news to those in the surrounding area — including motorists passing through.
According to the Oklahoman’s Brooke Pryor, an Oklahoma Jordan Brand billboard was spotted on Interstate 35 not far from Oklahoma’s campus in Norman, Okla.

The announcement on Thursday was complete with Blake Griffin visiting the football team to break the news.
Oklahoma football will become the third football program in the nation to sport Jordan Brand uniforms — joining Michigan and North Carolina.
But for now, Oklahoma isn’t sparing any expense in hyping up the new era of Sooners athletic apparel.
