LOOK: Miami fans are going all-in on the ‘turnover chain’

Miami Hurricanes-Miami football

In case you live under a rock and didn’t know, there are a ton of high quality football games on today.

That includes No. 3 Notre Dame (8-1) at No. 7 Miami (8-0, 6-0 ACC) tonight in front of what’s expected to be a dynamic College GameDay crowd.

It’s going to be rowdy in Hard Rock Stadium for what is arguably Miami’s biggest game in a decade.

A countless number of fans reportedly camped out on the set of GameDay overnight, and it appears a gigantic showing is upon us this morning as we kick off the day with Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, and company. And yes, they brought their turnover chains — a gold Cuban link necklace used to reward the football team’s defensive players for forcing an interception or touchdown (you can read more about it here).

All of them. All of the turnover chains. And it’s clearly out of respect of the Canes’ No. 4 nationally ranked turnover margin (1.38).

Take a look at the collection found on Twitter thus far:

Notre Dame and Miami are set for kickoff this evening at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
