Mercedes-Benz Stadium is gearing up for Act II.
On Saturday, Atlanta’s new athletic palace was the site of Alabama’s impressive victory over Florida State. But more action is set to take place soon. By viewing the sights below, you can see that workers at the location have been busy setting up for the Tennessee-Georgia Tech matchup to take place Monday night.

The work started long before Sunday afternoon. Clearing the end zones of any sign of Alabama-Florida State started in the wee hours of Sunday morning, shortly after the Crimson Tide clinched their victory. SEC Country’s Marq Burnett captured the scene.

The Tennessee-Georgia Tech matchup will be intriguing in many ways. Of course, the game provides a chance to watch another interesting SEC-ACC showdown. Then there’s the introduction of a new beginning at Tennessee, after quarterback Josh Dobbs moved on to the NFL after last season.
Certainly, Vols fans would love to see Tennessee start off in a positive way. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET Monday, and the game will be televised on ESPN.
