Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson entered Saturday’s rivalry matchup with Kentucky seeking revenge. Last season, Jackson lost a late fumble that led to Kentucky kicking the game-winning field goal and upsetting the Cardinals.
This time around, things got chippy between Jackson and several Wildcat defenders. But the reigning Heisman Trophy winner had the last laugh.
After the Cardinals’ 44-17 victory — in which Jackson racked up 372 total yards and two touchdowns — Jackson posted a picture on his Instagram account of himself standing over Kentucky’s Kroger Field with what appear to be laser beams emitting from his helmet.
In the caption, Jackson said he prefers Publix to Kroger, the supermarket chain for which Kentucky’s stadium is named.

In one last fitting barb for Kentucky, Jackson was named the ACC Offensive Back of the Week on Monday for his performance against the Wildcats.
