LOOK: Darren McFadden jokes about Arkansas coaching vacancy in first post-retirement tweet

Arkansas Razorbacks running back Darren McFadden

Former Arkansas great Darren McFadden just retired on Tuesday afternoon, but it seems like he might already be prepared to get back on the sidelines.

His first tweet after retiring was this message to the Arkansas administration:

Clearly the program already has its candidates in mind and though it might play well among fans, Arkansas has to have its doubts about his lack of coaching experience.

The official Arkansas Razorbacks account even had some fun with him, using an emoji to tell him to look at his phone.

While he may not be the head coach, nothing says with a little lower level experience that he might make an excellent assistant or running backs coach for Arkansas one day.
