The contract details for Ole Miss coach Matt Luke have been revealed.
On Monday, The Clarion-Ledger’s Antonio Morales used Twitter to publish details of Luke’s contract, a day after the interim tag was taken off the coach’s title. Luke will receive a $3 million base salary next season, and that figure increases each year through the contract’s duration, which lasts until Dec. 31, 2021.
The incentives also are included in the release. Luke earns $150,00 for each regular-season win against a Power 5 opponent. Luke also receives $150,000 per SEC victory, starting with the third conference win each year.

Luke started as Ole Miss’ interim coach after Hugh Freeze’s departure in July. Luke guided the Rebels to a 6-6 record this season, capped by a victory against Mississippi State last Thursday in Starkville.
The Rebels showed progress under Luke’s leadership, especially late in the fall. Ole Miss won three of their last four games, with the lone loss in the stretch coming against Texas A&M on Nov. 18.
