TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — With classes under way and the University of Alabama football team beginning to work specifically on its first opponent, Florida State, Nick Saban addressed reporters on Thursday evening.
It’s his first press conference since ESPN announced that writer Mike Wise had been “disciplined” for tweeting fake quotes by the coach regarding race issues when trying to make fun of Saban’s disinterest in Monday’s solar eclipse.

Meanwhile, a local news outlet had a film crew on hand to work on a story about the bottle of Coke that sits on Saban’s podium during press conferences.
