Lincoln Riley became the first rookie head coach in Oklahoma history on Saturday to record 11 wins after the Sooners defeated West Virginia, 59-31.
Riley passed former coaches Barry Switzer and Chuck Fairbanks, each who recorded 10 wins in their first seasons, for the all-time mark.
Oklahoma all of its games by double digits since narrowly escaping Kansas State in a 42-35 win on Oct. 21.
Riley can win as many as 14 games this season if the Sooners were to win the national title. Oklahoma was ranked No. 4 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings.
