Les Miles puts out awkward tweet on Mayweather-McGregor fight

It perfectly fit Les Miles character, but that didn’t take away from the fact that nobody was quite sure what he meant.

The former LSU head coach put out his second tweet since rejoining Twitter on Aug. 9 and it was wonderfully confusing.

There are multiple steps to comprehension here. He’s going to watch the fight, everyone understands that, but then it gets almost indecipherable.

He’s rooting for hope? Wait, no, he “Hope the want to win fits the winner” which sounds like a really difficult way of saying that he wants the person who wants it the most to win. Perhaps he’s eating some grass again somewhere.

He then followed it up with this response to his son.

He’s either disappointed Manny is talking about money or is also rooting for Mayweather himself. Who knows? Then again, Miles was famous for his phrasing and the way he used words in press conferences at LSU. It’s good to see he hasn’t changed much since losing his job with the Tigers.
