During his address, Sumlin said he and athletic director Scott Woodward have not spoken about Sumlin’s future with the program, as relayed by the Houston Chronicle’s Brent Zwerneman. On Sunday, a report surfaced that “change is coming” at Texas A&M with the Aggies struggling once more under the coach.

Texas A&M is 5-4 this season, but the Aggies have hit a rough patch lately. They’ve lost three times in their past four games.
At this point, it’s hard to believe Sumlin will return to College Station. But it’s not surprising to learn Sumlin has not spoken about his future with his boss. It’s unlikely those conversations will be made public anyway.
