Kentucky football: OT E.J. Price gets lift to practice from UK Police Department

E.J. Price-Kentucky-Kentucky football

E.J. Price recently arrived to Kentucky as a transfer from USC, and it sounds like he’s still learning the routine.

Price woke up at 3:15 p.m. for a 3:30 p.m. lifting session on Tuesday, but Officer Lee Morris of the University of Kentucky Police Department made sure he arrived on time.

Price sat in the front seat of the police car and said he got an escort to the football facility.

Price, a former 4-star offensive tackle, decided to transfer just three games into this freshman season at USC.

He was the 89th-ranked prospect in the 2016 class and the No. 10 offensive tackle, according to 247Sports. Price held 34 offers coming out of high school. He committed to USC over a list that included Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Clemson and Oklahoma.

Price will sit out this season and be eligible in 2018.
