Kentucky basketball: Rosters for 2017 Legends Game announced

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Twenty former Kentucky players are expected to suit up in the UK Legends Game on Friday at Rupp Arena.

The rosters were released Monday morning.

On the blue team coached by Chip Rupp, grandson of Adolph Rupp: Heshimu Evans, Cliff Hawkins, Shagari Alleyne, Andre Riddick, Jon Hood, Jeff Sheppard, Dale Brown, Kyle Macy, Kenny Walker and Goose Givens.

On the white team coached by Joe B. Hall: Julius Mays, Jarrod Polson, Bobby Perry, Perry Stevenson, Ravi Moss, Marquis Estill, Lukasz Obrzut, Jared Prickett, Jared Carter and Kevin Grevey.

The Legends Game starts at 7 p.m. Friday at Rupp Arena. More former Wildcats will play in the Alumni Charity Game at 8 p.m.

Kentucky can’t confirm if any current NBA players will play in the games, per NBA rules. But it sounds like some are expected to attend, according to the Kentucky Basketball Twitter account.

Tickets cost anywhere from $5 (upper level) to $500 (courtside). Doors will open at 6 p.m.
