Kansas State struggled out of the gate, but the Wildcats are still humming along.
An 11-point comeback victory over Texas Tech might have been the catalyst for a late season surge for Kansas State, but what would constitute success for Bill Snyder’s squad?
According to Kellis Robinett of the Wichita Eagle, wide receiver Dalton Schoen said, “I am still a firm believer that if we play to our capability we can beat anyone on our schedule.”
The road ahead for Kansas State doesn’t get easier. All of the teams remaining on their schedule are ranked in the AP Top 25 and the College Football Playoff rankings.
It seems so simple. All Kansas State has to do is get one win, and they’re going bowling. It just won’t be that easy. These are all good teams that the Wildcats are up against. Could they beat one of them? Yes, it’s certainly possible. But running the table seems like a pipe dream, especially with the Wildcats’ quarterback situation.
