Jimbo Fisher keeps ignoring Texas A&M questions: ‘Not going to talk about jobs’

The Jimbo Limbo, as Orlando Sentinel reporter Safid Deen aptly coined it, continued on Thursday.

According to 247Sports reporter Chris Nee, there’s a strong belief that Jimbo Fisher will accept Texas A&M’s offer and leave Tallahassee after eight seasons as FSU’s head coach.

Earlier this week, former FSU quarterback Danny Kanell warned Fisher that bolting for College Station would “change his career forever” in a negative way.

Well, Fisher was a guest on Kanell’s ESPN radio show on Thursday.

However, instead of giving a direct answer on the situation, Fisher once again declined to make a comment.

Fisher then added that he isn’t going to address whether he’s staying at Florida State until the conclusion of the season.

Florida State was ranked No. 3 in the AP Top 25 to begin the season but now need a victory on Saturday against UL Monroe to merely become bowl eligible.

Florida State already has a list of replacements that includes Oregon’s Willie Taggert and the man Fisher would succeed at Texas A&M (Kevin Sumlin), according to Football Scoop reporter Zach Barnett.
