Since it’s Monday of game week, Jim Harbaugh has finally succumbed to the media pressure and open records requests and released his 2017 team roster. But since he’s Jim Harbaugh, that’s not really what he did.

Harbaugh, who for the past few weeks has been toying with Florida’s game prep by keeping his 2017 roster under wraps, claiming he still has tryouts to run, tried to pull another fast one on Monday.

According to Detroit News writer Angelique Chengelis, Michigan’s game notes for the opener against Florida contains a “2017 team roster.”

Except it doesn’t. What is shown is a list of all the former Wolverines who are currently playing in the NFL.

And Florida head coach Jim McElwain just seems kind of over all of it.

Harbaugh Tweeted last week that he would release the official roster on Wednesday, three days before the Gators play the Wolverines.
