Iowa State football came up just short in its final home game of the season on Saturday, losing to Oklahoma State, 49-42.
Despite the loss, the day was full of highlights for the Cyclones. That included an insane tipped-touchdown catch by senior Iowa State wide receiver Allen Lazard — one that is worth watching again.
After the game ended, Lazard took to Twitter to thank Cyclones fans for their dedication at home all season and promised a strong return for the final two games of the regular season.
Thank you all for the love and support at JTS the past four years, cannot show enough gratitude for #cyclONEnation tough loss but WE WILL bounce back

Iowa State’s slate of home games was highlighted by an upset of No. 4 TCU on Oct. 28.
The loss on Saturday, however, handed the Cyclones their third conference loss of the season — likely eliminating them from Big 12 title contention.
Nonetheless, 2017 has been a magical year for Iowa State as the Cyclones knocked off two top-5 opponents and have already doubled their win total from 2016.
Iowa State will return to action with a road game at Baylor on Nov. 18.
