The early basketball signing period started on Wednesday. Joe Wieskamp, a 4-star shooting guard, became the highest ranked recruit to sign with men’s coach Fran McCaffery. He will likely only hold the designation for one year with 4-star guard Patrick McCaffery set to sign in 2019.
