AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn football will have its four-senior, one-sophomore look on the offensive line Saturday against No. 1 Georgia — but it won’t be its usual one.
Auburn announced senior right tackle Darius James in its projected starting lineup in the pregame warmups Saturday afternoon. James left Auburn’s win over Texas A&M last weekend in the second quarter with an undisclosed injury.
James’ return bumped senior Austin Golson back over to left tackle, where Prince Tega Wanogho finished the game last week.
Auburn will start sophomore Marquel Harrell at left guard over Mike Horton, who left the Texas A&M game with an ankle injury. Harrell has been a fixture on Auburn’s offensive line over the last few weeks thanks to injuries on the inside. Horton is dressed out and available for the game.
The rest of Auburn’s starting offensive line features Casey Dunn at center and Braden Smith at right guard.
In other starting lineup news, Auburn will start sophomore Jamel Dean at cornerback opposite junior Carlton Davis. Senior Tre’ Williams will start at linebacker with juniors Deshaun Davis and Darrell Williams.
Kickoff for Auburn-Georgia has been bumped back to 2:45 p.m. CT on CBS due to the Florida-South Carolina game running longer than anticipated.
