Huskies get three players onto PFF Week 13 Pac-12 Team of the Week

After earning a much-needed, well-deserved victory in the Apple Cup over Washington State, the Washington Huskies had three players nominated to Pro Football Focus’ Week 13 Pac-12 Team of the Week.

On offense, center Coleman Shelton was the lone honoree for the Huskies. As for the defensive side of the ball, Vita Vea and Austin Joyner earned recognition.

In UW’s 41-14 rout of the Cougars, the Huskies’ offensive line as a whole, led by Shelton, only gave up one sack. Washington also rushed for a whopping 328 yards against WSU.

As for Washington’s defense, Vea had two tackles including a half-sack.

Joyner, whose 90.4 rating was the highest PFF score of any Pac-12 defender in Week 13, had two tackles, a fumble recovery and a pass break-up.
