Offensive line filled with question marks

Michigan’s offensive line might be the biggest question mark of a team filled with question marks. While every position group for the Wolverines has inexperience, that will be especially so for the guys charged with protecting whoever wins the quarterback battle and opening holes for the running game.

Nick Baumgardner of the Detroit Free Press looks at the Wolverines offensive line and who will be answering those questions.

State of the Wolverines

Athletic director Warde Manuel addressed several topics Wednesday, including the decision to reinstate wide receiver Grant Perry and potential night games at home this season.

Revenge at the Big House

Michigan has lost 12 of the last 13 games against Ohio State. It should have/could have won last year in Columbus. Land of 10’s 2017 game previews and predictions finishes up with the Wolverines vs. the Buckeyes at the Big House.

Ryan Hayes has good comparison to follow

Jake Fisher was headed from Traverse City West to Michigan before a coaching change altered his plans. Ryan Hayes is often compared to Fisher, now playing tackle for the Cincinnati Bengals, but this Travers City West player has no plans on altering his course to Ann Arbor

Alma mater visit?

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots play the Lions in Detroit this week as part of the exhibition season. While Brady would be one player who could survive without the NFL’s exhibition season, it’s still a business trip for him and he’s not sure he’ll get a chance to stop by Ann Arbor.

Hype it up

Fox released hype videos for Big Ten teams on Wednesday. Check out Michigan’s here

John Beilein’s new lieutenants

DeAndre Haynes and Luke Yaklich were hired as assistants to basketball coach John Beilein this summer. They joined WTKA-AM in Ann Arbor Wednesday morning to introduce themselves to fans.

Running back Ty Isaac is focused

Ty Isaac is a leaner version of himself heading into his fifth-year senior season. He’s not taking anything for granted.

European hoops update

Women’s basketball players Hallie Thome and Maria Backman provide an update on the team’s travels in Europe.
