Georgia Tech, Tennessee by the numbers

Monday night’s Chick-fil-A kickoff game was full of offense for Georgia Tech, but the Yellow Jackets lost to Tennessee 42-41 in double overtime after an attempt to go for two.

Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson was not pleased with the loss, and he made that clear in his post-game press conference

“I don’t think I’ve ever been in a game where you run 96 plays and have 655 yards and lose,” Johnson said.
