FSU commit complains about lack of communication with Jimbo Fisher situation

Jimbo Fisher-Florida State-hurricane irma-ACC

The uncertainty of Jimbo Fisher’s status at Florida State has already cost the Seminoles three recruits.

Now it appears another commit is on the fence.

According to 247Sports reporter Chris Nee, there’s a strong belief that Fisher will accept Texas A&M’s offer and leave Tallahassee after eight seasons as FSU’s head coach.

4-star Bradenton [Fla.] IMG Academy corner Houston Griffith, 3-star Bossier City [La.] Parkway safety Israel Mukuamu and  4-star OL Verdis Brown, a prep teammate of Griffith’s at IMG Academy are the three 2018 recruits that have de-commited from Florida State while Fisher has been mulling his decision.

4-star wide receiver D’Marcus Adams out of Daytona, Florida could be the next on the list to de-commit based on his tweet this morning.

Florida State (5-6) needs a victory on Saturday vs. UL Monroe (noon EST) in order to become bowl eligible for the 36th straight season.

The saga of whether Fisher will still be their coach for that game is expected to finally be determined today.
