FOX Sports’ Joel Klatt seemingly rips Clay Travis when criticizing ’emotional hypocrites’ for Greg Schiano fallout

The takes keep rolling in about Tennessee’s Greg Schiano fiasco.

On Monday, FOX Sports’ Joel Klatt used Twitter to unload on the voices who protested the reported hiring of the Ohio State defensive coordinator. In his tweet, Klatt wrote that Tennessee fans who were aggressive in showing their displeasure with the reported hire “were led by emotional hypocrites with a severe lack of football knowledge that incited an internet mob.”

That sounds like a direct shot at Outkick The Coverage analyst Clay Travis, who stirred up frustrated Vols fans Sunday.

And yes, these two have a history.

Get your popcorn ready.

People are free to act however they want, even if what was seen Sunday at Tennessee was highly unusual. But Klatt is right: Tennessee likely will be limited with its choices from this point because of the events that unfolded this weekend.

How will the Volunteers’ program be affected moving forward? That’s the million-dollar question.
