Heading into conference championship weekend, two FOX Sports college football analysts have the No. 3-ranked Sooners winning the College Football Playoff.
Both Robert Smith and Joel Klatt picked Oklahoma to win it all in January, while Matt Leinart has the Sooners behind Clemson in his playoff picks.
Dave Wannstedt has Oklahoma making the College Football Playoff, but not as the top team on his ballot, taking Wisconsin and Clemson over Oklahoma.

Oklahoma, of course, has to get past TCU in the 2017 Big 12 Championship Game at AT&T Stadium on Saturday. A win would likely guarantee the Sooners, who moved up from No. 4 to No. 3 in the playoff rankings on Tuesday, a spot in the CFP top four.
Oklahoma’s resumé, which includes road wins over Ohio State and Oklahoma State, has to be reason for optimism among national media. The Sooners have also already beaten TCU this season, 38-20 on Nov. 11, and should they get another win over the Frogs, Oklahoma will either be headed to either the Sugar Bowl or Rose Bowl for the College Football Playoff semifinal round.
The Big 12 Championship Game is slated for a 12:30 p.m. ET start on FOX. Oklahoma opened as a touchdown favorite over TCU.
