Four Washington players named to Pro Football Focus Pac-12 Teams of the Week

Washington’s 38-3 win over Oregon last Saturday was full of highlights and strong individual performances, leading to a quartet of Huskies getting recognized by Pro Football Focus.

Washington receivers made up two-thirds of the PFF Pac-12 Offensive Team of the Week, with sophomore Aaron Fuller and senior Dante Pettis combining for eight of Washington’s 11 receptions and 163 of the 204 passing yards accumulated by quarterback Jake Browning.

Pettis had a 47-yard touchdown catch among his four catches, in addition to the 64-yard punt return TD that gave him the FBS career record for punt return scores, while Fuller’s 76 receiving yards were a career high.

Also getting recognized for his effort Saturday on offense was junior offensive tackle Kaleb McGary, who prevented Browning from getting sacked and aided in Washington rushing for 247 yards on just 39 carries.

Defensively, Washington’s top standout (per PFF) was junior linebacker Ben Burr-Kirven, who had a team-high 10 tackles including five solo takedowns along with a forced fumble and pass breakup. He leads the Huskies with 59 tackles.
