Ronald Martin’s reunion in the secondary with his former LSU teammate Jamal Adams turned out to be short-lived.

The safety was traded from the New York Jets to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for LS Thomas Hennessy on Monday.

The Colts announced the move on their Twitter page:

Martin, who went undrafted out of LSU before eventually landing with the Jets, was a second-team All-SEC selection in 2014.

Martin was with Jets the last two seasons, playing in 11 games while moving up and down from the team’s practice roster.

The Jets selected Adams with the sixth selection in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Colts begin the season on Sept. 10 at the Los Angeles Rams.
