2018 pledge John Huggins to visit Missouri this weekend

Despite being committed to Florida State since July, 3-star Daytona Beach [Fla.] Mainland safety John Huggins is fielding interest from other suitors.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound defensive back had already scheduled an official visit to fellow ACC Atlantic member Louisville for the weekend of Dec. 9.

According to Scout.com’s Corey Bender, Huggins will take a visit to Missouri this weekend. Next weekend, Huggins will take the trip to Louisville.

The Cardinals will pay Huggins a visit later this week, according to Mike Hughes of 247Sports.

Huggins told Florida State DieHards recently that Auburn, Florida, Kentucky and Miami are among the programs still recruiting him and that additional visits were likely to be scheduled, along with an official visit to Florida State.

Despite the visits, Huggins told Bender that he is “all in” with his commitment to the Seminoles.

Huggins is one of 2 safeties that Florida State has committed in the 2018 cycle.

While he appears to be solid in his pledge, the door remains slightly open for other schools to make an impression on the in-state defender.
