Florida State’s worst fears were confirmed on Sunday night as QB Deondre Francois has, indeed, been lost for the season.
Francois suffered a patella tendon injury in his left knee and is scheduled to undergo surgery as early as Tuesday, sources told the Tallahassee Democrat.
The injury occurred in the fourth quarter of the third-ranked Seminoles’ 24-7 loss to the top-ranked Crimson Tide in Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday night, when Ronnie Harrison sacked Francois from behind.
