When there is a coaching change, there’s bound to be a few recruits who look to play elsewhere. And that appears to be the case for 4-star cornerback Divaad Wilson.
Wilson is a 4-star cornerback out of Northwestern High School in Miami, Fla. He is the No. 32 cornerback in the country and the No. 334 player overall.

Earlier this week, SEC Country’s Zach Abolverdi reported that a number of Florida assistants, including defensive coordinator Randy Shannon, would not be brought back Todd Grantham will be Florida’s defensive coordinator next year under new coach Dan Mullen. Shannon was Wilson’s primary recruiter.
Prior to Wilson’s de-commitment, Florida had the No. 11 class in the country and the No. 4 class among SEC teams. The Gators top commit is 4-star quarterback Matt Corral.
