Michigan still hasn’t released its 2017 roster, and Florida head coach Jim McElwain does not seem too pleased about it.
Jim Harbaugh has kept Michigan’s roster under wraps. He tweeted earlier in the week that he would release it on Aug. 30 after NJ.com filed a Freedom of Information Act request seeking the roster. Harbaugh said tryouts were the reason the roster was still being finalized.
Final tryouts for roster spots on 2017 Michigan Football Team can start no earlier than 8/28. Roster to be determined & publicized on 8/30.

McElwain took a jab at Michigan’s unreleased roster — which is an unusual practice in college football. Speaking with reporters just 10 days from Florida’s season opener against Michigan, McElwain said to let him know when they get the roster “so maybe I can figure out who we’re playing.”

Earlier this week, McElwain declared that his team would “beat the heck out of Michigan” at a student pep rally.
