From the Michigan sideline

Florida’s season opener against Michigan is 12 days away. Here’s are some highlights on the Wolverines from the past week.

Safety first

Florida announced on Friday that the Exactech Arena at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center is introducing new security measures, including metal detectors at each of its four entrances. An excerpt from the release:

“These metal detectors will be at every gate and used for all events at the O’Connell Center, which includes all Gator home events.

Also, all bags will be checked before going through the metal detectors. There will be new signage and additional staff to help direct fans through the process at each gate.”
