Kevin Sumlin couldn’t have scripted things any better through the first two-plus quarters Sunday night in Pasadena, Calif.
Texas A&M led by 34 points with 4 minutes, 8 seconds left in the third quarter and the plane ride back to College Station promised to be a pleasant one. Then, Josh Rosen happened.
The UCLA quarterback threw 4 fourth-quarter touchdown passes as the Bruins scored the game’s final 35 points, including a 10-yard toss with 43 seconds left to complete their improbable 45-44 comeback victory.
As you probably can imagine, Texas A&M fans weren’t happy. Join the conversation here.

Angel L Olmeda: Where was Hubenak when we needed a throwing quarterback? I know Mond needs some experience, but, once it was a two score game and A&M couldn’t move the ball Hubenak should have been the quarterback.
Gary Kiser: Without a doubt the sorriest coached second half. Where was the defense guru Chavis. Unacceptable. Fire Sumlin now. Enough of sub par coaching.
Howard R. Dixon: Once again get a lead then take your foot off the pedal. Sumlin needs to be fired. He can not make in game changes, Mond should have never stepped foot on the field. Every year he thinks he’s discovered the next Johnny football. 1-9 against Alabama and LSU.
Tony Jaramillo: SUMLIN needs to be fired tonight, he does not play to win. He plays not to lose. No killer instinct in any of his teams no lead is safe with him in charge. I never felt comfortable tonight because of him and his style of coaching. If he’s not fired tonight then the AD SHOULD GO ALSO
Anthony Lopez: Kevin Sumlin must go!!! How do you dominate both sides of the ball for 3 quarters of the game and give up a 34 point lead!!! He is a joke, and if the AD cares about our team he will fire him tonight
Michael Lewis: J-O-K-E JOKE. Sumlin was clueless and had no idea what to do. I know HS football coaches that could have done a better job than he did tonight. I personally hope we don’t wait until the end of the season to make staff changes.
Michael Crouch: We are the laughingstock of the SEC now. We have zero credibility. We are the softest most undisciplined team I’ve seen ever. Fire them all it can never get any worse than what we just witnessed. I’m embarrassed to be an Aggie football fan. Never embarrassed to be an Aggie. It’s a forgone conclusion Sumlin can’t compete. Hate to say it becase I think he’s a good guy and a great recruiter.
Jamesjane Carter: I saw a lot of celebrating the first half. That’s poor coaching plain and simple. They believed they had the game put away.
