Fan Sound Off: Ole Miss fans weigh in on Matt Luke’s debut performance as Rebels coach

Matt Luke - Ole Miss

The Matt Luke era at Ole Miss got off to a strong start on Saturday night.

The Rebels beat South Alabama, which is the same team that snuck up to beat Mississippi State in the 2016 season opener, by a convincing 47-27 final score at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

Ole Miss fans were excited to talk about the team’s strong performance and the debut of their new interim head coach in the hours following the victory. Fans were buzzing about the potential of a strong season from Matt Luke on SEC Country’s Ole Miss page.
