The new Golic and Wingo radio show kicked on Monday morning and their first guest was blunt in his opinion about the Jimbo Fisher rumors.
Texas A&M fired coach Kevin Sumlin on Sunday afternoon.
Reports are indicating that Texas A&M is nearing a deal with the Florida State Seminoles coach and a press conference to make it official is reportedly slated for 10 a.m. today.
ESPN personality Booger McFarland agreed with the rumors and believes that the Jimbo era in Tallahassee is over.
McFarland also says that a toxic mix between Fisher and Florida State administration is a determining factor.
Part of that could have to do with the arms race of facilities.
Previously Fisher has complained about the lack of modern facilities at Florida State. However, facilities aren’t a problem at Texas A&M, as the Aggies have invested a ton of cash recently into theirs.
During his time at FSU, Fisher posted an 83-23 record and captured the 2013 national championship.
