Week 1 is in the books, and ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit, who seemingly called every game over the long weekend, has revealed his first in-season Top-4 rankings of 2017.

Each of these teams had impressive wins over the weekend, albeit with some competition much fiercer than others.
No surprise at No. 1 after Alabama impressively handled AP No. 3 Florida State 24-7. Ohio State struggled early on the road with Indiana before pulling away for a large win. Clemson dominated Kent State, and Penn State crushed Akron.
Week 2 may result in a shuffle of these rankings, with both Clemson and Ohio State in big-time Saturday matchups. Clemson hosts Auburn, and Ohio State hosts Oklahoma. The Crimson Tide will face Fresno State. Penn State will play Pittsburgh in Happy Valley.
